Lowongan Kerja terbaru bulan Maret 2021 kali ini datang dari PT Hatfield Indonesia (PTHI) adalah pelopor dalam bidang jasa lingkungan di Indonesia, dengan kantor lokal pertama yang didirikan pada tahun 1990 di Bogor, Jawa Barat, dan kantor baru yang didirikan baru di Jakarta dan Bali. PT Hatfield Indonesia (PTHI) Hatfield menyediakan berbagai jasa lingkungan di Indonesia untuk sektor-sektor termasuk perikanan dan budidaya, kehutanan, infrastruktur, pembangunan internasional, pertambangan dan eksplorasi, minyak dan gas, energi terbarukan, serta sektor pulp dan kertas. Saat ini PT Hatfield Indonesia (PTHI) sedang membuka kesempatan berkarir untuk menempati posisi sebagai berikut:
1. Senior Environmental Specialist
Responsibilities :
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams to undertake projects related to environmental and social impact assessments, environmental and social due diligence against national and international standards, and other quality driven environmental studies.
- Recommend, and develop appropriate studies and tools to answer study-specific environmental aspects within a range of projects in the infrastructure and extractives sectors.
- Conduct data analysis and present results through reporting, presentations, or other documentation.
- Manage project team activities including preparation of project work plans, schedules, budgets, technical activities, and coordination of technical staff and sub-consultants to ensure efficient use of corporate resources, preparation and editing of documents (proposals, reports, and geomatic outputs)
- Ensure QA/QC on project outputs to ensure the highest possible standards, and any additional tasks required to ensure that project outputs are completed on time, on budget and to acceptable corporate standards.
- Provide leadership in the implementation of company QHSE systems and policies.
- Provide mentorship and guidance with team members to provide a dynamic work environment and develop a career path to meet team members’ and company goals.
- Lead marketing and business development activities in the environmental sector in Indonesia and southeast Asia with private and public sector clients, as well as international developmental organizations. This will include: strengthening corporate relationships with existing clients; marketing and business development with potential clients; providing business intelligence for overall corporate marketing activities; remaining proficient with the direction and status of industry projects and opportunities; and providing assistance in the preparation of proposals and proposal negotiations with clients.
Competencies :
- Experience in leading or managing ESHIAs, DDs, and/or environmental management planning and monitoring for projects in Indonesia.
- Experience in reporting and project management, using tools to track time management, budget management, and team management.
- Excellent analytic and research skills (leveraging a sound knowledge of scientific literature).
- Experience with designing and implementing scientific studies/field programs and managing field teams and the collection baseline data.
- Experience with preparing regulatory applications for approvals and possess a sound working knowledge of national and provincial environmental legislation.
- Experience operating in a dynamic consulting environment that requires flexibility and teamwork; and an ability/interest to work in the field, occasionally in remote locations for extended periods of time.
- Working knowledge of Indonesian regulations and international standards related to natural resources and infrastructure and extractives.
- Posses strong leadership, team management, and good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to support business development and marketing activities using modern networking skills and able to leverage an existing network in the private sector, government, nongovernmental organizations and/or universities to develop new business opportunities.
- Confident to undertake negotiation and mediation with senior decision makers, both internally and externally.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
Education and Experience :
- M.Sc. in environmental management relevant fields, or equivalent post-secondary education.
- Minimum 10 years experience in managing and implementing projects related to environmental, social, and health impact assessments (ESHIA), environmental and social due diligence (ESDD), environmental management and mitigation, and other services, preferably in a consulting environment and with a demonstrable track record of increasing responsibilities.
- Proficient with national regulations regarding environmental impact assessments, and environmental permitting.
- Experience implementing projects complying with international standards/safeguards, i.e., International Finance Corporation (IFC) Performance Standards and World Bank Environmental and Social Framework.
- Experience in developing and recommending studies and approaches for clients to achieve compliance with international standards for environmental and social risk management.
- Experience operating in a dynamic consulting environment that requires flexibility and teamwork; and an ability/interest to work in the field, occasionally in remote locations for extended periods of time.
- Experience providing mentorship to technical and non-technical team members.
2. Forestry Specialist
Responsibilities :
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to undertake projects related to forestry, carbon and natural resource surveys, impact assessments, and due diligence in compliance with national and international standards.
- Support the delivery of project team activities including preparation of project work plans, schedules, budgets, and technical activities including workshops, consultations, and focus group discussions.
- Contribute to the preparation of various documents including proposals and project reports and other deliverables including data compilation and analysis and ensure all data are carefully stored and safely transported to PTHI’s office in Bogor
- Ensure QA/QC on project outputs to ensure the highest possible standards to meet corporate and client standards.
- Support the implementation of company QHSE systems and policies.
- Support marketing and business development activities in the environmental sector in Indonesia including: marketing and business development with potential clients remaining proficient with the direction and status of industry projects and opportunities; and providing assistance in the preparation of proposals and proposal negotiations with clients.
Competencies & Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in forestry, biology, natural resource management or equivalent post-secondary education from a reputable university.
- At least three years of experience in a dynamic consulting environment engaged on forestry, biodiversity, natural resources management projects (the ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge on carbon sequestration and climate change mitigation).
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary technical and non-technical experts or teams.
- Familiarity with Indonesian regulations related to natural resources and forestry.
- Familiarity with certification in forestry and palm oil sector.
- Excellent communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English (oral and written – technical and scientific writing).
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, perform tasks outside the usual job scope, and willing to travel frequently on short notice.
- Demonstrated reporting and project management skills including time management, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Intermediate computer skills required: MS Office and statistical software.
